Workshops

A library of sessions, or one tailored to your school.

Each workshop is differentiated for the age group you choose. Mix and match across a day, or commission something new to fit your scheme of work.

The Synagogue Experience

Children explore the sights, textures, sounds and tastes of a synagogue — handling artefacts and discovering what each one means.

Shabbat

Written for KS1: we move through the story of creation, examine the Shabbat table and its traditions, then taste challah and grape juice.

Jewish Festivals

Learn the rhythm of the Jewish calendar and explore up to three festivals — chosen to fit your curriculum and the time of year.

Bar & Bat Mitzvah

A first-hand account of Eve's daughters' Bat Mitzvah ceremonies — how they prepared, the ceremony itself, and the celebrations that followed.

Storytelling

Step inside the story of Purim or Hannukah through drama, voice and movement. A favourite with younger pupils.

FAQs

Questions teachers often ask.

Can't see your question? Email Eve directly — she's happy to help.

Ask a question
How long does a workshop last?
Typically around 45–60 minutes, but timing can be flexed to fit your timetable. Just let Eve know what works for your school.
How many children can take part?
Workshops work best with a class-sized group (around 30 children). Larger groups can be accommodated — get in touch to discuss.
Are the sessions suitable for non-Jewish pupils?
Absolutely. Workshops are designed for all pupils, with no prior knowledge assumed. The aim is to bring Judaism to life in an accessible, respectful way.
Do you bring your own resources?
Yes — all artefacts, resources and tasting items (where relevant) are included in the price. We just need a space to work in.
Can you tailor a workshop to our scheme of work?
Yes — bespoke workshops are a regular request, and Eve will design a session around your topic, year group and learning objectives.
How do we pay?
An invoice is sent after the workshop, payable by bank transfer within 30 days. POs welcome.
